Second printing of the Signet paperback edition from January 1952. Signet 884. First published as a Signet paperback in May 1951. Originally published in the US by Knopf in 1938. Edge rubbing to the spine with a little chipping at the top. Otherwise only light surface and edge wear to the covers. The pages are browned but are otherwise unmarked. Cover illustration by Ray Pease. Postage charge will be reduced by £1.50 when the order is processed.
