About this Item

A good copy of the 1st edition in the original blue cloth binding with title to spine. Produced to War Economy Standards. The boards are bright and clean with some areas towards the base that have a matt surface rather than a shiny one. Small bump to the top front corner and light wear to spine ends and corners. There are 2 ink signatures to the fep and a pencil note about a binding error: pages 113 to 128 are bound back to front and upside down. Apart from that the contents are complete, sound and very clean. There are numerous illustrations in the text, some full page black and white illustrations, and 16 photographic plates at the rear.

Shipping in UK will be by lowest cost 'signed for' method. Shipping to the rest of the world will be by signed for airmail or courier. Due to loss of too many packages by surface mail we will not use this method.
