Brown cloth hard cover with gilt titles on front and spine, and very little cover wear mostly confined to bumped spine ends, and patch of loss of colour on lower spine. xv, 115 clean pages and 24 pages of advertisements at rear. There is a book plate inside front cover - The gift of M Oppenheim (1853-1927, pioneer historian of English naval administration) in 1919 to Bath Public Reference Library, but none of the usual lending library stamps. Published in 1872 this rare book is in very good condition.
