Dark blue cloth hard cover with gilt titles on spine, and only very minimal cover edge wear. Inside front cover is a book plate - Purchased in 1928 by Bath Public Reference Library, but none of the usual lending library stamps. Relatively clean interior with xxiv, 434 pages and numerous illustrations including frontispiece, many with tissue guards. This 1919 1st edition volume is in very good condition.
