Two brown cloth hard covers with embossed decorations on front boards, titles on spines, and minor cover wear mostly confined to spine ends. Inside each book is a book plate - The gift of M Oppenheim (1853-1927, bibliophile and pioneer historian of English naval administration) in 1919 to Bath Public Reference Library, but none of the usual lending library labels. 395, 412, 415 and 471 pages. Both internal spine hinges are loose and exposed but intact and holding reasonably well. Published in 1858 both 1st edition books are in good condition. Seller Inventory # 002891
