"Since at least the 1960s, Italian artists have resisted creating art that expresses a national identity, making Italian art elusive to define. This quality of subtraction is examined here in the work of Giovanni Anselmo, Elisabetta Benassi, Gino De Dominicis, Francesco Matarrese, Marisa Merz, Luigi Ontani, Cesare Pietroiusti, Michelangelo Pistoletto and Emilio Prini." Text: Guercio Gabriele. cm 16,5x24,5; pp. 112; paperback, as new.
