This is a Good Copy of this Book bound in Quarter Black Leather over marbled boards with 5 raised bands to spine and with maroon moroccan title label lettered in gilt to the 2nd compartment along spine,other compartments to spine with gilt decoration,with blue patterned marbled endpapers.There is some wear and slight lifting of the leather to the head of spine and with scratch mark to the top edge of the upper cover.Binding remains firm with no hinge weakness.Profusely illustrated with 12 full-page steel engravings and a further 116 illustrations on wood.Some scattered foxing internally with some thumbing marks to page margins etc.8vo (viii) 284pp First Edition [1845].
