Egyptian Birds for the most part seen in The Nile Valley and painted and described by Charles Whymper. Light brown cloth hard cover with dark green vertical lines, and gilt titles within red frames on both the spine and the front. There is very minor cover wear at spine ends and a small damp stain with loss of colour at the upper spine end. Interior has x, 221 untrimmed pages, colour frontispiece with tissue guard and 50 further colour plates and 11 line drawings in the text. Published in 1909 this 1st edition is in very good to near fine condition. Seller Inventory # 003262
