First Print *A rather exceptional example* An almost Fine, glossy book with a high sheen, as when published. No foxing. With gentle pushing to spine tips. More pronounced knock to foot which has rumpled the joint a little. Otherwise, crisp and very clean, with sharp corners. No inscriptions or bookplates. Slight scuff to otherwise clean top edge. In a very sharp and clean example of the unrestored original unclipped wrapper with the price of 12s 6d to front flap and in almost fine, crisp condition. Clean lower panel. Slight wear with miniscule loss to bottom flap corner, with light creasing and wear to spine tips. Slight rubbing to otherwise bright and unfaded spine. Rare to find the wrapper and book without foxing or any notable wear. A gem of a book for the discerning collector. Completely unrestored. Housed in bespoke quarter-leather black felt-lined solander clamshell box with gilt titles. This will come with the book, which is also in removable Mylar.
