Hard covers with original bindings of brown leather spines and corners, and marbled boards. Cover wear is confined to the spines with two leather spines missing, one missing upper 1.5cm end and one complete with repaired hinge. Inside each front cover is a book plate - Presented by Sir Isaac Pitman to Bath Public Reference Library, but none of the usual lending library stamps, although there is a white label taped to each spine with the year's date. Four attractive volumes (1855, 1856, 1857, 1858) with original bindings in good condition. Seller Inventory # 004133
