The book is in reasonably good condition, normal wear, marks and tear apply consistent with use and age. Small amounts of foxing throughout the book and to edge of hand cut edge of papers, noticeably none on the text. Name plate on inside of front board, with black and white scene of park. Introduction by the author Malcolm C. Salaman dated April 1912. Sixth Edition, Revised and Enlarged with Additional Chapters. 376 pages plus advertising pages, all intact. All pages, text and illustrations are in good, readable order. The book comes with a softcover pamphlet from the Board of Education South Kensington titled: "Tools and Materials used in Etching and Engravings", printed for his Majesty's Stationary Office by Wyman and Sons Limited, London, dated 1904, priced at One Penny. A fifteen page document, with worn softcovers that are detached from use and wear. This collection was prepared in the Engraving School of the Royal college of Art, by the assistant Teacher, Miss C.M. Pott under the direction of Mr Frank Short, who also supplied the following technical notes. A couple of fascinating books that deserve to be preserved for future generations.
