Pages quite clean, no marks of any kind found, no foxing, lightly toned. The Waverly Novels are a long series of novels by Sir Walter Scott, the Magnum Opus 48 volume set being published between 1829-1833, with all subsequent sets based on that set until the standard modern edition, a thirty-volume set, was published. The early novels dealt with phases of Scottish history characterizing ordinary people, often using regional dialect; later novels were historical novels, published between 1814-1832.
