Small library label and reference number on inside of front cover and large Ampleforth Abbey purple stamp on front end-paper. Red and black frontis and title-page which also has a decorative panel. 9 plates and many woodcuts and vignettes - a couple in colour. Plates have tissue protective sheets and have light foxing.
