The body of the volume includes an interview conducted by David Tannous. The translation of the Introduction written by Vicki Goldberg and the interview were completed by Margherita Solar. The dust jacket has some yellowing, the edges show some wear, e.g. crimping, rolling, soiling, and there are some surface marks to the jacket. The jacket is now protected by a clear, removable cover. This appears to have been in a painter's studio as there are several pages and the top edge which have red stains. There also appears to be a bit of waviness to the paper. Inscribed by Illustrator(s).

I am in over my head on this book of photographs by the fine art/fashion photographer Joyce Tenneson so I will, as is my occasional custom, fall back on quoting from the flap of the dust jacket: Joyce Tenneson s ethereal photographs of the human figure have been described as mesmerizing-haunting and truly beautiful. It is this distinctive vision and immediately recognizable style a mysterious alchemy of sensuality and spirituality that have brought here international acclaim Transformations is the first book to feature Tenneson s color work. Published to coincide with a traveling exhibition originated by the International Center of Photography in New York it presents the full range of Tenneson s personal color work since she began to work in color in the mid-1980 s. Included are recent photographs called light writings in which Tenneson draws with light. An illustrated interview with art critic David Tannous includes examples of her fashion and portrait works as well. This large hard cover book (9 ĵ x 11 ĵ inches 127 pages) was published by Little Brown and Company as a Bullfinch Press Book dated 1993 and a First Edition (so stated). It is flat-signed and dated by the Artist on the half title. The book includes 81 color and 21 black-and-white illustrations. Condition: This book is in very good condition. I cannot say the same for the dust jacket which shows some wear and also what I believe is some mouse chew on its upper corners. There is a scrape across the front cover of the dust jacket as well. The hard covers are clean and bright but a little bowed upwards, something that can be corrected by proper placement on your bookshelf. The mouse got one or two small bites out of the upper corner of the rear board (please see the photos). Inside the only mark I found is Tenneson s signature on the half-title page; the interior pages and many plates are clean and bright throughout. The hinges are intact, and the binding is tight and sound. This book is not ex-library or a remainder. Signed by Author.
