In the pages of this book, you…will find wit and whimsy, gladness tinctured by sadness, hints of magic and occasional elements of the tragic. Some of Sheldon's characters become old, treasured friends similar to those peopling Gordon MacQuarrie's Old Duck Hunters stories or Corey Ford's Lower Forty adventures. Illustrations by Ripley, A. Lassell. (illustrator).
