The edges in Vol. 1 and Vol. 2 are clean, but Vol. 3 has a smudge on the bottom edge. Appear unread. Volume 3 has a slight discolouration on the head of spine. All 3 volumes have slightly bumped spine tails, but no tearing or chips. Corners are square in Vol.1 and Vol. 2 and bumped in Vol. 3. Slip case is sturdy, but is faded, missing chips of green cloth, and has a 1 inch split in the joint of the rear panel. Contains stories of hunting and fishing in the countryside of Vermont.

Tranquillity Regained has lost its DJ. Slipcase, with pastedown title and explanation, as well as tiny bookseller's medallion, is soiled and worn at edges, but well-constructed.

Vol. 2 has 186 pages and is the same exterior without any damage. Vol. 3 has 160 pages and is similar to Vol. 2. In all volumes the interior pages are clean, unmarked and binding tight. The slip case shows edge wear and there are six places on the edges where a small piece of the cover paper is missing. The title plate on the outside has small soil marks but is all present. Inside the books there is a note that there were 5,000 copies of this book printed at that time.
