Binding remains firm. Boards have heavy edge-wear with bumping to corners, crushing to spine ends and rub wear all over. Major split to upper front joint. Wrinkling to cloth at spine. Gilt lettering is dulled.

Tightly bound with mild thumb-marking throughout. 2 pages detached but present. Boards have mild edgewear with corner crushing and notable marking and mottling to boards. Mild tanning to board edges and spine, which has mild crushing to ends. Book has forward lean. Boards are mildly warped. Moderate water stains to boards.

Hardcover. Condition: Good. Each chapter individually numbered, illustrated with diagrams, figures etc. Half bound in brown morocco over plum cloth-covered boards, with gilt lettering on the spine. All edges speckled red. Brown patterned endpapers. 8vo. Rubbed all around spine and edges, cloth a little marked and worn. Upper text block edge dust dulled. There's series of faint numbers stamped on the title but else internally neat. clean and tight. The ICS Reference Library series was a series of textbooks published by the International Correspondence School for students of all international correspondence schools and containing the instruction papers, examination questions and keys used in their various courses.
