Captain brown analyses their flight characteristics with the critical assessment of the skilled test pilot, and reveals some of the idiosyncrasies and delights of a very varied assortment of forty four aircraft. The most impressive flights were those made in captured German aircraft, without pilots notes, without a breifing and with no knowledge of the airworthyness of the aircraft or engine.
