Taschenbuch. Condition: Neu. This item is printed on demand - it takes 3-4 days longer - Neuware -This book is designed to provide a materials science background to textile engineering students and practicing engineers. This book seeks to focus on multi-response optimizing of resin finishing based on Taguchi-grey relational analysis (GRA) method. We have chosen a unified approach and have divided the book into two major sections: firstly, non-formaldehyde resin finishing of cotton fabrics is conducted using an L27 orthogonal based Taguchi design. Second, different processing parameters including three levels of the concentrations of the resin (g L-1), catalyst (g L-1), and the softener (g L-1), as well as the curing temperature (o C) and curing time (min) are investigated to determine the optimum operating parameters of a resin finishing process to achieve the optimum multiple characteristics by using the Taguchi-based GRA; this approach has not been reported previously in the literature. The authors cannot acknowledge everyone who helped in one way or another in the preparation of this manuscript. We would like to thank the students of our textile engineering courses who in the past few years endured our experimenting and trying out of new ideas. 52 pp. Englisch.…
