Joints and hinges very tender, but textblock is intact and firm. Contains article No. 81 Saturday, June 2, 1711 through No. 169, Thursday September 13, 1711.

Contents dated from 1711. Boards and spine are worn and scored. Spine sides are cracked, but boards remain attached. Leading corners, edges and spine ends are worn and bumped. Lettering plates are missing from spine. Page block is tanned and marked. Paper on hinge of front pastedown is split. Pages are foxed and tanned on edges. A few pages are creased on leading corners. Text is clear throughout. Binding remains intact. HJW. Used.

Spine has been replaced with black cloth with gilt lettering Wear to page edges and boards. Front and back inner hinges have been taped. Marbled endpapers and page edges. Pages are lightly tanned but otherwise in remarkably good condition. Sold singly or with companion volumes 3, 5, 7 and 8 in similar condition; 16mo - over 5¾ - 6¾" tall Good.

Indexed at rear. Full tree-calf leather with gilt lettering and decoration on spine. Red and black spine bands. "Mary Woodward" is inked and ink stamped on front paste down, and inked on title page and top of first issue. Very light other wear. Overall an attractive, tight, and crisp copy.
