Included with the book is a compliments slip from the author, which reads: "Dear Mr Brett, Here is the book we discussed at breakfast on Sunday at ART IN ACTION. I hope the poems give you pleasure. With kind regards, Kenneth". This book comes from the Library of Simon Brett (1943-2024), the much acclaimed artist renowned for his work in wood engraving.
