Estimated 1956 which was the year that the Green Umbrella was published and is last on the list to the rear flap. The open winged ladybird is present on the rear flap and the verso of the title page. The endpapers are decorated in the open winged ladybird format. Beige boards with darker illustration are very good plus; clean and unmarked. Red pictorial dust wrapper is unclipped and has a liittle wear at the spine ends and a small hole in the spine panel. Sixth title of 14 listed.

Seies 401 - one of 8 titles. Hardcover. Buff coloured boards with brown tiles and blue end papers patterned with ladybirds. The dust jacket is dark pink with a colour vignette that shows two kittens getting into difficulties under a tea table. Condition: Very Good. The boards are very clean and only a little rubbed. The pages are occasionally very slightly marked. The cover is worn at the creases, slightly creased and a little marked. The spine is faded. There is a tear to one crease about 3/4 inch long. It is not price clipped.

Price-cut wrapper is worn, torn and creased. Some pulling of hinges causing contents to be slightly loose. Packaged with care and promptly dispatched!

Spine faded to light grey, lettering bright, tiny bump to head and tail of spine, no inscriptions, minute light stain to lower edge of 1 text page, otherwise contents clean and bright, 2 inner joints cracked but binding tight and firm.
