Paperback. Condition: Used; Good. A 1967 edition of Seven Come Infinity. This is a collection of science fiction stories by seven brilliant authors. The art of science-fiction is the art of almost, the art of the possible, the art of "why couldn't it happen this way?" It was in a science-fiction story that the atomic bomb was imagined, described, explained. The writer projected. Basing his suppositions on extension of the known and suspected behaviour of atomic particles, he tackled the big "if" and the sly "supposeing." His story was a prophecy. In this way, it frecast the modern world. Perhaps one of the seven imaginative exercises that follow there will turn out to be asimilar germ, a take-off point for future scientists, statesmen, explorers! Title: Seven Come Infinity Author: Various Publisher: Coronet Books Publication Date: 1967 Format: Softcover Condition: This book is in fair condition for its age; the corner of the back cover is ripped off and tanned pages.
