Condition: Near Fine. Jacket Condition: Near Fine. 1st edition, 1st Impression. 14.3 x 22cm red cloth with silver titles to the spine, 200pp with original unclipped dust jacket with £6.96 net price. The book has been signed on the title page by Philip Pullman. A near fine book with clean bright boards and sharp corners. Internally, there is the usual uniform toning to the pages resulting from the quality of the paper stock used. The author has signed the title page in blue biro. The dust jacket is near fine with only a little light creasing to the spine and only very slight fading of the red sections at the spine ends. All in all an excellent, collectable, signed first edition of this the first in Pullman's extremely popular Sally Lockhart quartet.
