Pages are moderately tanned and foxed throughout, heavier at end-papers, paste-downs and text-block edges. Ex Libris plate of 'Lady Hunleke' to front pastedown. Minor pencil marking to front free end-paper. Binding remains firm with visible thread in places. Boards have heavy edge-wear with bumping to corners, crushing to spine ends and rub wear all over. Loss to leather on all sides. Spine gilt and decoration is worn. Top edge of text block is dust marked.

This is a later edition of the first book printed by John Stafford in Bingham done in 1803. This is a scarce edition, apparently not listed in the British Library Catalogue.
