Full leather, with leather labels on spines. Title label missing on volume 2. Light Macalester College library stamp on inside of front board. With embossed slub for the (Edward D.) Neill room, library bequest. Neill was associate secretary to President Lincoln, and served as chaplain to the Minnesota Regiment in the Civil War. He also served as president of the college.
