ALSO this envelope has a "Lincoln Sorting Carriage" single ring cancellation with a triple ring squared circle on the actual stamp. Also has a single leaf of adverts at the front + a blind embossed stamp on endpaper of "Wellington Vicarage, Grantham". The owner at some stage was Lincolnshire history writer & recorder Tom W. Woodfruffe-Peacock, with his address inscribed at endpaper also. Very good uncut edges. Original brown cloth gilt titles, Octavo. 1888.
