Cover marked, bumped, worn, stretched or creased on rear. Foxing at end papers and a few other pages, final page/rear free end paper missing; thus, the foxing is on the page opposite rear pastedown which is the last page of the index; odd marks and foxing internally.

Octavo hardcover (VG-) in d/w (VG-); all our specials have minimal description to keep listing them viable. They are at least reading copies, complete and in reasonable condition, but usually secondhand; frequently they are superior examples. Boards have mild edge-wear with slight rubbing to surfaces and bumping to corners. Gilt lettering is bright and clear. Minor wear marks to boards. Unclipped jacket. Panels and spine have light edgewear with tears and creases. Moderate tanning and wear marks to flaps, panels and spine.
