Variant edition printed and published by the students of The London School of Printing and Kindred Trades in 1934 (Johnson had delivered this lecture there in the previous year). Plain boards with cloth spine: title to front, no title to spine. Some spotting to covers but nothing major. Text block simply bound in: the sewing has almost pulled through the pastedowns in all three spots, so the contents are loose relative to the covers, but not detached. Contents printed on handmade paper, with the watermarks suggesting that the paper was provided by Hayle Mill. Title page with small hole. Two pages with a small marginal hole to each and couple with slight edge loss. Slight spotting to page edges. Printing sharp and clear. 32pp. More details available on request. (Uc2).
