Hardcover, an attractive copy with only minor issues of the boards, mainly some light staining along the top front. The only reason the book is not in a higher grade is because the cloth on spine cracking at the hinge areas although binding is still tight.… Edges and corners are still sharp with only minimal where. The internal binding is good and text pages are tight. There is some pulling at both the front and rear board, which is also because of how they folded under the frontispiece paper. Pages are still crisp and only lightly toned, the only handwriting found in the book is on the second end page and back of front and page, which shows the original owners of Harry and Mary Miller, Pennsylvania Grammar School, New Garden PA, along with a date of September 29, 1876.
