Black and white illustrated frontispiece. Clean pages with noticeable tanning and foxing throughout. More pronounced to free endpapers and pastedowns. Pen markings to title page. Heavy water staining to pastedowns, free endpapers and title page. Hinges are heavily cracked with exposed netting. Binding remains firm. Boards have heavy edge-wear with bumping to corners, crushing to spine ends and rub wear all over. Gilt lettering is darkened. Moderate peeling and splits to spine and corners. Visible wear marks to boards.
