Taschenbuch. Condition: Neu. nach der Bestellung gedruckt Neuware - Printed after ordering - Concrete is a composite building material made by combining cement (usually Portland cement), water, coarse aggregates, and fine aggregates. Self compacting concrete (SCC) has many benefits in terms of production and placement compared to normal concrete namely, elimination of externalor internal vibration for compaction, better flowability, workability etc., so that we consider self compacting concrete (SCC). In the production of cement, the carbon dioxide is released into atmosphere in order to reduce this effect the cement is replaced by different supplementary cementitious materials like fly ash, silica fume, Ground granulated blast furnace slag, Metakaolin, etc.Concrete over the past few years suggest that cement replacement materials along with mineral & chemical admixtures can improve the strength, workability and durability characteristics of concrete. The research has focused on developing self compacting concrete in cooperating relatively large amounts of mineral by products such as Fly Ash and silica fume as supplementary cementing materials. Here two binary blended mixes were prepared one mix with replacing Fly Ash with cement by 10%, 20%, 30% and 40%.…

Taschenbuch. Condition: Neu. nach der Bestellung gedruckt Neuware - Printed after ordering - Generally we use materials which are required for conventional concrete and addition to those we replace the low cost as well as light weight materials such as Fly-Ash. In this project we replace the cement to the fly ash and fine aggregate to the robosand by variable percentages. Fly ash is the by product of the combustion of pulverized coal in electric power generation plants. Fly ash particles are minute solid spheres. Fly ash is collected from the exhaust gases by electrostatic precipitators or bag filters Color generally ranges from dark grey to yellowish tan for fly ash used for concrete. Chemical makeup of fly ash is primarily silicate glass containing silica, alumina, iron, calcium. The perfect substitute for river sand is robosand. River sand is one of the basic ingredients in manufacture of concrete. River sand has become expensive and scarce. The crusher dust is known as Robosand can be used as alternative material to the river sand. Robosand possess similar properties as that of river sand, hence accepted as a building material. All replacements were done to the M30 grade of concrete.…
