Hardcover. Condition: Good. 1st Edition. A hardcover book in good condition. Pages are spotless and intact, with no markings. The hardcover is well-preserved. The dust jacket remains clear and crisp and despite minor signs of tear along the top edge, the surface shows no major signs of wear.

Small octavo, tan illus. cloth (hardcover), 71 pp. Near-Fine, with light foxing (age darkened spotting) and bookplate; in a Very Good+, brightly illustrated dust jacket with a bit of edgewear. From dust jacket: RAFF and Anthony Armstrong have delighted such a host of readers with their previous records of Nice Types to be met with in the Royal Air Force, that the demand for a third volume on similar lines was inevitable. At the end of the war most of the Air Force Nice Types were scattered to the four winds of Civvy Street. Fortunately, however, our popular collaborators occasionally came face-to-face with erstwhile Nice Types, from the Station Commander down to the humble but inimitable A.C. 2 Plonk, with the result that once again these delightful personalities have become the subjects of Anthony Armstrong's engaging humour and are pictured by Raff with characteristic wit and insight. Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. No Jacket. 1st Edition. First edition and printing. In very good cream coloured cloth boards with blue motif of soldier to front and blue titles to spine. The boards are flat, clean and firm; the spine is slightly sunned. The end papers are lightly tanned; the front free end paper is thought to be missing. The text block is illustrated with humorous black and white drawings and the pages are tightly bound, straight and unmarked. Very good condition. No dedications etc. Without jacket.

The jacket has separated into three parts - the front flap is detached and the spine has separated from the front panel. Half the spine is missing and there are several chips around the edges with some browning to the rear panel. First printing.
