Winkworth. This is based on the world-class collection of Mark T. Hindson, who started collecting in the 1940's. His collection was auctioned by Sotheby's in two auctions of 1967 and 1969. Filled with photographs and divided by different schools of Netsuke artists, the book is the standard to this day. The rear of the book contains indexes, lists of known artists, original auction selling prices for the pieces, and other bibliographic data.
