Some mild toning and foxing to spines of jackets, with light nicking and bumping…to extremities of jacket. 3 x 1 cm chip to head of front panel of jacket of Volume II, and a short 2 cm closed tear to tail of rear panel. The volume number has been written in black marker by a previous owner at the upper corner of the front panel of each volume. Some light rubbing and a few bumps to spine ends and corners of boards of both books. Endpapers have just a few freckles of foxing, and the words 'a set' have been written on the upper corner of both front free endpapers. Some marginalia and ink in both pencil and blue ink in Volume I. Bindings firm. Due to the size and weight of this set, additional shipping may be required for expedited and international orders. .
