Ex Library, so has bokplate, and various stamps throughout, a taped library code on spine has removed some of the gold decoration.

Condition: Very Good. Two volumes in one: pp 226 The miscellaneous Works of Tim Bobbin and pp 84 Plebeian Politics. These satirical works by the 'Lancashire Hogarth' John Collier are in very good condition in straight grain calf, spine rebacked, inner hinges reinforced. (Not known if they are complete since there is no list). Ink note on page 112. Fairly clean tight text but with some fairly noticeable spotting in places. In a likely contemporary half leather and marbled boards binding. Spine decorated in gold with a burgundy title label stating simply TIM BOBBIN. Spine presents very well.

A good working copy.
