Condition: Very Good. Seven pocket volumes of the works of Sir Walter Scott in attractive bindings of blue roan with gilt spine lettering, all edges gilt, yellow coated end papers. Each volume is illustrated with an engraved frontispiece of a British castle within a heraldic frame, the titles are decorated Gothic script, and the other engravings and decorative head and tail pieces within the text make these a very pretty set. In very good condition, the spines are rubbed and a little faded but the covers are fresh, the gilt bright and the pages crisp. A very attractive collection.
