The introduction suggests this is first work of criticism dedicated to the study Lawrence and his work, and points out that his death occurred whilst the book was at the proof stage. An important piece of modernist criticism. Black and white frontis. and two further plates. Cloth is rubbed, especially to the lower edge where board is exposed, and slightly spotted. Good+, sound copy.
