Soft cover. Condition: Very Good. Wrappers. Upper cover slightly creased, and with a nick at one edge. 194pp., reproduced on a duplicator, title-page + 96pp. text, printed one side of the page only, this copy numbered "16"; Children's Film Foundation compliments slip inserted, inscribed on the verso, "Dexter plays Steve". Shooting script for the film released as 4D Special Agents (1981), written by Peter Frances-Brown and Harold Orton, directed by Harold Orton. The BFI, which still distributes it in a CFF bundle, bills it as a "Crime story for children featuring a helicopter chase after jewel thieves. Revolves around a group of children in the East End of London, some of whom belong to a police sponsored scheme called '4D Special Agents', originated by the South Yorkshire Police". Dexter, playing Steve, is Dexter Fletcher, later star of the 1989 film of Martin Amis's The Rachel Papers, and director of Eddie the Eagle (2015) and Rocketman (2019); he was 14 when 4D Special Agents was made.
