Other catalogues have included TWO MAGPIES, letters and papers from the collections of Jonathan Gili, Christopher Lennox-Boyd and others; A SEAT AT THE TOURNAMENT, books and papers from the collections of Siegfried Sassoon, Margaret Drabble and others; EVERY PRINTED PAGE IS A SWINGING DOOR, books from the library of the poet David Gascoyne (1916-2001) and his wife, Judy; SPICILEGIUM SCOTICUM, a selection of (mainly) Scottish books from the libraries of Sir Herbert Grierson and others; and AHASUERUS THE BOOKSELLER, a biography-by-book-catalogue of Robin Waterfield (1914-2002), bookseller, publisher, writer and missionary. He also regularly issues e-catalogues, miscellaneous and particular. The founding Obituaries Editor of THE INDEPENDENT, 1986-2007, James Fergusson was Deputy Editor of THE BOOK COLLECTOR, 2012-15, and Editor, 2016-18.
