First Edition
Condition: Very Good. First Edition. First edition, first printing. Though not marked, this is Danny Thompson's (1947-2020) copy; he was a long-term saxophonist and former manager for the Arkestra. Acquired directly from Sun Ra's house on Morton Street in Germantown, a neighborhood in Northwest Philadelphia. [iv], 60 pp. Bound in publisher's pale blue wraps printed in blue. Very Good with oxidation to staples, sunning to front wrap with light spotting and trivial worming to covers. A cosmic work of poetry by the composer, bandleader, and pianist known as Sun Ra, a man in a class of his own because, according to him, he was from the planet Saturn. A nice association copy as Thompson was considered the backbone of the experimental group for most of its existence, making his first official appearance on the 1967 album Atlantis.

Buch. Condition: Neu. 540 pp. Englisch.
