Leather on spine is freighted edges and to the finish, there is also a deep spot near the center as shown in the photos. Edges and corners show wear. Internal binding is good, no hinge issues. No signatures or bookplates, no library markings found. Pages are tone due to age and there is a bit of pulling near the back section page 70/71. Pages are divided into numerous chapters, each chapter is numbered independent.

In very good dimpled black half faux leather, and brown cloth boards, gilt titles to spine, with three horizontal raised bands. The covers are very tight and quite clean, with worn front side of spine. Clean brown decorative end papers. Red mottled cut edges; top edge darkened. The text block is very tightly bound and unmarked, not tanned. With many figures and tables. Looks hardly used. Paginated in sections. A printed reference number on title page - 10 273.
