This is definitely Not a former library book. This is a hardcover book with 87 pages. The binding is strong with all pages firmly attached. The author wrote a short dedication and Signed the first end paper. There is also a bookplate on the first end paper. The pages are otherwise clean with no tears. The copyright and title pages show only 1938 as a date making this a First Edition. The dust jacket is over 99% intact with a one-inch chip on the top of the spine and two pieces of tape on the top edge of the front and back. I have placed a fresh mylar jacket over the dust jacket. We always ship in a sturdy cardboard box!

Inscribed by the author with a line from the book. Accompanied by a 225 TYPED LETTER SIGNED on the authors personal stationery thanking the recipient for her kind words concerning this book, mentioning that his next book of poetry, MAN TRACK HERE, should see print in 1939 (which it did), that other writers such as Edgar Lee masters, Padraic Colum and Theodore Dreiser have liked this volume as well and that he welcomes any slip-cases that the recipient may wish to send. Envelope included.
