The need of quality control and standardization for traditional system of medicines is due to the fact that the preparation of drug according to the ancient method has been reduced. Significant efforts have been made to modernize the traditional medicinal products into typical solid dosage forms. However, the conversion of medicinal extracts and powdered plant materials into tablets presents many challenges to formulators. Hence the study monoherbal formulation development for laxative activity was undertaken using flaxseed seed. 56 pp. Englisch.
