Red boards are very good with one small (approx. 3mms) split to the cloth at head of spine, very minor pushing to corners (not major), the odd small mark, fading to spine and a little pushing to head/tail of spine. The binding is tight. Top of pages little dusty. There is some minor foxing to page edges, tops and bottoms. Occasional mark to pages (nothing much). Smells a little musty. Odd scratch to page edges and tops. Page edges little tanned. No other faults. All books described honestly and accurately. Paypal accepted.

The D/W is foxed to the verso of the spine and is chipped at the head of the spine (just affecting the lettering) with a 5.5 cm, closed tear to the left hand edge at the top of the spine. Internally, the pages are very clean with just a hint of toning to the page block when the book is closed. There is a contemparary inscription to the second front end-paper. The dust wrapper is in near fine or better condition. There is very light rubbing to the extremeties, but the wrapper is extremely clean with fresh colours, and covers the book tightly. The wrapper is priced at 6/- to the flap as called for. The printing error to the front panel with the telescope the wrong way round is present. A very attractive copy of a scarce title, seldom found in this condition.
