Hardcover, no jacket, brown cloth with black-stamped title and decoration on front cover, gold-stamped spine-title, three pages of Press Notices followed by one page of "New Books," 361 pages + 4 pages of ads, great copy of this vintage treasure, the spine-ends of the cloth show mild wear as do…the corners, the former owner's name with a date of Aug 14, 1888 is present on the blank front end-paper, pages 123-131 have a short corner-crease to the bottom along with just a few small spots of foxing on page 131, the binding is clean and tight as are the contents.
