Condition: Good. 1954. First Edition Thus. 206 pages. No dust jacket. Red cloth. Pages and binding are presentable with no major defects. Minor issues present such as mild cracking, inscriptions, inserts, light foxing, tanning and thumb marking. Boards have mild shelf wear with light rubbing and corner bumping. Some light marking and sunning.

Condition: Good. 1954. First Edition Thus. 206 pages. Illustrated dust jacket over red cloth covered boards with gilt. Pages remain clear with minimal tanning and foxing. End-papers are more notably tanned. Text block edge is moderately foxed. Minor pencil marking to front free end-paper. Section of dog eared paged. Binding remains firm. Boards have mild edge wear with slight rubbing to surfaces. Mild crushing to spine ends. Book has a slight forward lean. Unclipped jacket has mild edge wear with tears and creasing. Moderate tanning to spine.

red cloth boards with gilt lettering to spine 206pp VG (bruising to rear top corner and last few pages, small stain to top rear also through last few pages) in VG d/w (price clipped, light rubbing and discolouration, light creasing, faded cup stain on front).

Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. Dust Jacket Condition: Very Good. 1st Edition. Near fine except for hard bump on lower bottom corner, dj has light edge wear and wrinkles on corners.

Hardback. 1954 reprint edition. Book has some foxing to its edges and some browning to the front and back endpapers, otherwise a tight sound unmarked copy in Good to Very Good condition. Dustjacket is in Fair to Good condition with browning and waterstaining to the spine and edges. We have placed the dustjacket in a brodart protective cover and it looks much better than described.
