This beautiful set, bound in Amsterdam, shows Regency period binding at its finest, and in excellent state of preservation. SIZE: TBA CONDITION: minor foxing and browning to text, minor rubbing only, a fine clean and well presented set.

Three quarter dark brown leather over marbled boards, wide raised spine bands tooled in gilt, dual black spine labels, three engraved frontis plates plus additional engraved title page. Spine worn but attractive, joints cracked but resecured, hinges internally reinforced with old clear tape that has yellowed a little but not badly, endpapers foxed, some lighter foxing to engravings, pages clean, name of New Hampshire artist Dorothy G. Blodgett 1951 at lower edge of front free endpaper, no other markings. Hard Cover. Fair. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
