Inscribed by Rosenhagen on rear blank, noting his friendship with the author, Felix Shay. Cloth covered boards have slight edge wear, nice and clean including spine label, corners are nice and square. Internally, pages are nice and clean throughout, includes cloth place marker. Dust jacket has shelf wear and some toning, chipping at corners and spine ends, still solid and in one piece. A very good, solid copy. All of our books are individually inspected and described. Never ex-library unless explicitly described as such.

Numerous other color and b&w accents throughout. Front board has some stains, and an impression of Elbert Hubbard and a picture frame border embossed into it. Corners are lightly bumped, as are top and bottom edges of spine, gift incscription on second facing endpage, christmas sticker stuck inside front cover, front hinge is weak and stretched, rear hinge is fine, front binding split but holding on second facing end page. Top page edge is gilt, front page edges are deckle edged. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
