This book, therefore, provide a comprehensive and integrated approach using HEC-HMS models, Muskingum routing,Digital elevation model data,SCS-curve number method in estimating the flood volume,peak discharge for various return periods and land use change at various locations along the Addis Ababa city watershed .The methodology and results were analysed sub-basin wise of the whole urban watershed. The analysis should be specially useful to the Hydrologist, civil engineering students, field engineers, urban planner and other professionals who may be considering utilizing latest methodology for mitigating damage due to urban flood. 84 pp. Englisch.
